Back to the Bricks

There was a lot of excitement in my neighborhood this past weekend due to the Back to the Bricks Car Cruise. You can visit the website http://www.backtothebricks.org/. I never took my camera with me, but take my word for it, it was pretty fun.

The events started Wednesday night with a rolling car cruise down Saginaw Street stretching from Grand Blanc to downtown Flint. Well, where we live we're right in the middle of everything. In fact, the hot spots to hang were just blocks away. We went to a local bar on Thursday, sat on the patio, and watched all the cars pass by and recklessly do burn outs. It was fun to watch but I was so nauseated by the exhaust fumes I was home in bed before 10 pm. Then on Saturday we took a quick drive on the motorcycle to the downtown events and checked out the festivities.

We had fun, but next year I have to remember to take my camera

Lookie What I Did!!!!

This is something that I have been wanting to do for quite sometime, and I finally got it done. Now bear in mind that there is no color now, but, I do plan on getting color added in the next few weeks. I am so pleased with how it turned out, I think it is so pretty. I was in the chair for three hours, and boy, oh boy, was that enough for me. It didn't really hurt until the last half hour. I would highly recommend body art to anyone who believes in self expression.

Celebration of a New Arrival

Little Brianna is set to arrive in October, so this weekend family and friends gathered to celebrate her future arrival. this was no ordinary baby shower, this was a diaper party. Since, the lucky parents have most of what they need already, guest were asked to bring diapers instead of the traditional baby gifts. The kids had fen on the water slide, while the adults played Boccie ball. It was a fun day. Congratulations to the entire Lesinski family!!!

Tammy, the mother to be .....again!

The happy family, little Allyssa, Tammy and Eric

Allyssa is one of the most charming little girls we know, she is so friendly and is one heck of little darling. Here she is with Jimmy.

Now she is passing the love on to me. She is so energetic and entirely too smart and sassy all in a 3 year old package.

The kids weren't the only ones that had toys, here's Jimmy riding the four wheeler. He loved it!
