Road Trip

Summer, for us, includes many motorcycle journeys. Sometimes we just hop on and stay local, other times we actually go far from home. This time we went into the thumb. We hit Harbor Beach and Port Huron. It was a beautiful day, enjoy the pics.

My Sister's Visit

My lovable sister and her hilariously funny husband Billy came for a visit this weekend. I made them, and my parents, dinner. It was a pretty low key evening, but we laughed until our sides ached and our eyes watered. We had a ball!!!! I love that I have a family I can laugh with and who enjoys life as much as I do. Unfortunately, Jimmy was at a bike rally in Muskegon so he wasn't able to join in the fun.

Newly Appointed

Jim has been newly appointed to the Board of Directors for the Burton Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce works to promote business in the area and finds ways to help the community. Jim has spent a lot of his time contributing to organizations like this one. He is also, and has been for many years, an ambassador for the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce. He even had him name in the paper announcing his new appointment.

I am not exactly certain who all these people are, but Jim is the one on the far right. This was taken during the Burton Chamber of Commerce annual golf outing put on to raise money for the Miss Burton Scholarship fund.

Jim's Guy Trip

A few weeks ago Jim hopped on his motorcycle gathered the guys and took a four day trip to Pennsylvania to visit the Harley Davidson plant in York, Pennsylvania. Here are some pics of his adventures.

Helping Out Again

I know I have not been posting that much lately, but I have been using up most of my free time working with students. I am once again a Supplementary Instructor for a statistics class at U of M. I basically help students understand the concepts of statistics and help them work through difficult problems. I enjoy helping out where I can and I find it very rewarding. I will try to post as much as I can.

July 4th Celebration

This year's Independence day was a blast. As we do every year, we went over to Mike and Robin's house to celebrate. We were extremely lazy, just laying in the pool and eating all day. It was a great day with friends and we had a wonderful time.
